Arkansas VINE in Crittenden County
The Arkansas VINE System handles notifications across the state. It watches county jails, the Arkansas Division of Correction, probation, parole, post-release supervision, and court feeds from prosecuting attorneys. Crittenden County posts no opt-out notice, so the coverage appears to apply. Always confirm the name and facility in the live search before trusting a match.
VINE and the sheriff roster serve different purposes. The Crittenden roster carries local booking details, charges, bond fields, and an image link. VINE tracks custody status and changes. For the court path, Arkansas CourtConnect is the public tool. The Arkansas DOC locator only matters once a person enters state custody, not simply because of a county arrest.
The Arkansas VINELink search screen looks like this:

Screenshots go stale. Search tools shift. Matching records and custody data change over time too. That is why the live portal is the one to use. A saved image cannot show what the system holds right now.
Run a Crittenden VINE Check
Keep the search narrow. Start with the exact name. Add an identifier when you have one. Because VINE reaches multiple Arkansas record systems, a hit at a state prison or supervision office does not mean the person sits in the Crittenden County Detention Center, so check the facility field carefully.
- Open VINELink and choose Arkansas as the state.
- Select the person or offender search and enter the name as accurately as possible.
- Add an offender or booking number, case number, ADC number, or supervision PID when available.
- Review every possible match instead of opening the first similar name.
- Confirm the date of birth, identifier, current status, and location shown in the result.
- Use the result’s notification option only after confirming the correct person.
Crittenden County VINE can list more than one person with the same name. So look past the surface. A shared name is common, and a single detail like age rarely settles it. Match the booking number and the arrest date. Check the holding facility too, before you trust any result. If two Crittenden County records still look alike, call the sheriff's office rather than guessing.
Get the right arrest confirmed first. Then the Crittenden County arrest and roster resource shows what the official booking record contains. It covers the arresting agency and the booking charges. Bond and the available photo appear in one place as well.
What Crittenden VINELink Shows
Fields vary by source. A county jail record, a Division of Correction entry, a supervision record, and a court feed each send different items. A blank space does not disprove anything. Often it just means the source system never transmits that field.
| Result field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name and birth date | Identity fields used to separate possible matches. |
| Offender number | The identifier tied to the reporting custody system. |
| Custody status | Whether the source reports the person held, released, or in another tracked state. |
| Location | The jail, correctional unit, or supervision office in the record. |
| Scheduled release | A projected date when supplied, subject to later change. |
| Parole eligibility | A state correctional field, not a county booking promise. |
| Next court event | May appear when the relevant court information reaches VINE. |
| Supervision status | Can identify probation, parole, or post-release supervision type and office. |
VINE is not a full charge sheet or mugshot gallery. It is not a disposition database either. A release alert only signals that reported custody changed, never that a charge went away. A state-prison result points to state custody. A roster row points to county detention. For filed charges and outcomes, CourtConnect is the place to check.
Crittenden County VINE Update Timing
The state publishes a clearer VINE cadence. Crittenden's own jail site gives less timing detail for its roster. County-jail data moves every 15 minutes, around the clock. DOC data transfers hourly, and court and supervision feeds move once a day. These are system intervals. They are not promises that every new event is complete on the first pass.
Intake still comes first. The jail must identify the person and enter the custody data. Only then can any other system pull it. Corrections, transfers, and release decisions can arrive at different moments too. When time matters, compare VINELink against the sheriff's Current Inmates and New Inmates tabs.
The state's own VINE explanation page could not be captured. The successful Arkansas VINELink interface image appears here instead. It shows the search surface itself, not any individual result.
Register for Arkansas Custody Alerts
Registration works online or by phone. The toll-free number is 1-800-510-0415. Phone users give a number with area code and pick a four-digit PIN. That PIN confirms each call and stops the repeats. Email registration runs through the website or an operator and skips the PIN step.
- Open the confirmed person’s VINELink record or call the Arkansas VINE number.
- Choose the event types and notification method offered for that record.
- Enter a reachable telephone number or email address.
- Create and remember the four-digit PIN for telephone notices.
- Complete registration and keep the person’s identifier for later checks.
- When a call arrives, enter the PIN after hearing the message to acknowledge it.
Alert types depend on the record and its source. Possible notices include release, bond release, court-ordered release, transfer, escape, death, furlough, work release, parole, pardon, hearings, court events, and dispositions. Not every event applies to every county detainee.
Standard calls may repeat every 30 minutes for 24 hours until the PIN is entered. Answering-machine calls may recur every two hours instead. The automated line never closes. Live operators staff non-emergency calls from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Note: Registration attaches to one confirmed record, so keep the person's identifier handy and update your contact details whenever a phone or email changes.
Release and Transfer Alerts Explained
"Released" describes custody, not the case. A person can leave the Crittenden County Detention Center on bond, by court order, at the end of a hold, or through a transfer. The alert reports the event plainly. It will not spell out each legal step behind it.
- Booking
- Jail intake after an arrest, when identity and custody data are recorded.
- Bond release
- Departure from custody after bond requirements are met; the case can continue.
- Transfer
- Movement to another jail, Arkansas correctional unit, or other authority.
- Disposition
- The court’s resolution of a filed charge, such as dismissal, acquittal, plea, or conviction.
- Supervision
- Probation, parole, or post-release oversight outside ordinary jail custody.
One arrest can touch several systems. A fresh Crittenden County booking starts in the county feed. Current Inmates then shows anyone still held. A sentenced person transferred to ADC belongs in the state locator. VINE and court data can keep listing a person. That listing can continue even after the live jail roster drops the name.
Limits of a Crittenden VINE Result
VINE has firm limits. Federal Bureau of Prisons custody, U.S. Marshals holds, and ICE detention sit outside its reach. Federal cases need federal tools. The BOP locator handles federal prison custody. Immigration detention belongs to the ICE detainee locator. The public BOP locator posts no booking photos, and neither federal tool counts as a Crittenden County arrest source.
VINE also cannot replace a sheriff records request. Web rosters drop names fast. Once a person rolls off, the Crittenden County Sheriff's Office can still be asked for the retained booking record. Arkansas law keeps jail booking records longer than the 48-hour public feed. Longer retention still does not guarantee web display.
For voice confirmation, call sheriff administration at (870) 702-2010 or dispatch at (870) 702-2000. Report copies are Patricia Joplin's area, at (870) 702-2029. A filed case, rather than custody, points to Arkansas CourtConnect or the Crittenden County Circuit Clerk, and a fresh arrest pairs well with Crittenden County Arrested Today when VINE has not yet returned a match.
